Micah Parsons, the team’s star player, is at the center of a severe contract issue, which has escalated the Dallas Cowboys’ lengthy title drought infuriation.
When the player’s brother Terrence Parsons Jr. dropped a “bombshell” on social media criticizing Jerry Jones’ managerial style, the matter became well-known.
The critique was delivered by Terrence retweeting a J. Tuck comment that specifically targeted Jerry Jones’ management style.
“The craziest thing about the Cowboys putting together a CHAMPIONSHIP roster… they’ll really be 2-3 pieces short and say ‘nah, we’re good… let’s wait until next year to see what we find'”.
Terrence cited this message and added one word to go with it: “This”.

At the heart of the debate is Parsons, who is starting his contract year under a generous fifth-year option for $24 million. The athlete is reportedly looking for a record-breaking contract for between $45 million and $50 million a year, according to industry speculations.
But after OTAs and minicamp, negotiations inexplicably came to a standstill, leaving many to wonder about the club owner’s job and true motivations.
