LeBron James has a knack for making headlines, even during the NBA offseason. James has turned his attention to his off-court endeavors following the Los Angeles Lakers‘ heartbreaking early elimination from the 2025 NBA Playoffs.

Additionally, he made a statement this past weekend that made both athletes and spectators take notice.

In collaboration with ultra-luxury Swiss watch company Richard Mille, the 39-year-old Lakers great unveiled a new limited-edition watch that featured his signature and personal emblem.

Only 150 pieces of the unique watch would be made, as LeBron revealed on Instagram, showcasing the complex design of the custom piece.

The response was, predictably, loud and quick. Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, was one of many awed by the watch and posted a series of spiral-eyed and fire emojis in the comments section. No need for words.

Not just Kelce was enamored with James’ most recent endeavor. Numerous athletes from various leagues, including P.J. Tucker, Tristan Thompson, Kyle Kuzma, Caitlin Clark, and Satou Sabally, responded to the post.

As the image quickly went viral on social media, celebrities like DeMar DeRozan, Lonzo Ball, and Anthony Davis pushed the “like” button.
