Shedeur Sanders Responds to a Prank Call From Ole Miss Frat Guys

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, is still a long way off in the 2025 NFL Draft. While waiting to be drafted, Sanders got a nasty hoax call from someone posing as an NFL team. Shedeur is in his Texas home with his father, Deion Sanders, and his family.

In the video that is being live on Twitch, Sanders answers the phones while being surrounded by cameras and appears perplexed. He claimed that the caller informed him:  “Have to wait a little longer.”

The prank call is quite impolite. Shedeur discussed the call during the live broadcast. Sheduer stated:

“Nobody got that number but coaches, strictly for that reason,”

“Why get mad? They want you to have a certain type of reaction to it”

During the pre-draft process, Shedeur was a highly touted first-round selection pick. Given that five quarterbacks were selected before the former Colorado standout, many were taken aback by his decline. Tyler Shough of Louisville was the third quarterback selected on Friday, the second day of the draft. Due to their doubts about Derek Carr, the New Orleans Saints selected Shough with the 40th pick rather than Sanders.
