The Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant story has descended to yet another low point. There have been reports of fights in the Suns’ locker room as the organization searches for a trade partner for the 15-time All-Star. Durant has made a lot of narratives available for fans and the media to discuss. This time he showed his strength.
Durant has been in Phoenix for two and a half seasons, playing under three different head coaches. Due to their complete absence from the NBA playoffs, the 2024–25 season was by far the worst. Even with the largest payroll of any NBA team, they were unable to guarantee a berth in the Play-In Tournament.
Kevin Durant’s response to DeMarcus Cousins
Durant’s remark was given without delay. He vehemently denied that anything similar had happened in the Suns locker room in a social media message addressed to X.
Durant declared, “I have to contest this 94-footer. This some bullshit to throw on us. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we were trash this year, but we never got close to this. Never,”
When it comes to defending the facts and his thoughts on basketball, Durant is very vocal. Fans could object to KD’s high level of activity on X, but he doesn’t mince words.
Durant discussed a report involving his 2016 free agency meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers almost two weeks ago. According to reports, Steve Ballmer, the owner of the Clippers, started crying throughout the meeting.
