The ‘Still Bad’ belter made headlines after she was quoted as saying that she had used the much-buzzed-about medication to drop pounds.
Taking to TikTok, however, the star says her words on Trisha Paytas‘ podcast were taken out of context.
And she did not hold back with her frustrations, branding the media “sick and twisted.”
The GRAMMY winner vented:
“I did not use Ozempic for my weight release. I did a podcast, the interviewer was telling me that they desire to lose weight but they felt that they had to use a GLP-1 (Ozempic and similar). I was encouraging them to do what is best for them. But I said I tried everything, but the only thing that works for me is a calorie deficit. “
Continuing, she added:
“What you’re not going to do is clip that little moment and make it into a headline. The media is sick and twisted. Do you have anything better to report about than a lie you just made up, honey? The world is literally at war. This country is in shambles. And you’re making up a headline. Are you well? Are you ok? “
