When the Clippers were trying to inbound the ball with 10 seconds remaining, he covered James Harden, effectively helping the Nuggets win the game 112-110 in overtime. His defense ultimately resulted to a turnover and the Nuggets’ victory.

Westbrook also did just that during the game. The defensive play described above was one of his game-changing plays. Westbrook also made a three-pointer at the end of the fourth quarter to give the Nuggets a two-point advantage.
However, the Clippers immediately knotted it up. Some supporters were irritated after Westbrook missed a game-winning shot at the conclusion of regulation. Without a doubt, watching him play is an emotional rollercoaster.
After playing 34 minutes, Westbrook finished Game 1 with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.
