Alica Schmidt, “Sexiest Athlete in the World” Gets 1st Tattoo

In an attempt to obtain her “first and only” tattoo, Alice Schmidt endured the needle. The gorgeous 26-year-old German athlete participated in the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.

Schmidt competed in the mixed 4×400-meter relay in the French capital’s Stade de France. After missing out in Tokyo 2020, the 26-year-old fulfilled a longstanding dream of becoming an Olympian.

The Games were an “emotional rollercoaster” for her as her relay team didn’t advance past the heats. Schmidt decided to get inked to commemorate the event, telling her six million Instagram followers that she had braved getting her first tattoo.

The athlete, who was crowned Australia’s Busted Coverage’s Sexiest Athlete Alive in 2017, posted a story on Instagram about her visit to the parlor. Before displaying the completed design—the six Olympic rings tattooed on her outer thigh—she is shown resting on a treatment table.

Schmidt wrote in the post’s caption: “I’m so happy!! It turned out exactly how I wanted it.”  “As an athlete I am still not where I want to be and maybe I will never be.” “And to those athletes who didn’t make it to Paris this year, never stop believing in yourself.” “It’s a bumpy road and one day all your hard work will eventually pay off!”

In August, the German sent an inspirational message to her millions of followers, despite her disappointing performance on the track in Paris. Schmidt went on a series of glitzy vacations after her experiences in Paris.

She wowed her fans with bikini-beach photos from her travels to Thailand, Italy, and the Maldives. In June, Schmidt and her boyfriend, photographer Fredi Richter-Menda, also went public.
