Shedeur Sanders, the rookie quarterback for the Cleveland Browns, has spoken out about receiving two speeding citations recently.
Just before 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Shedeur Sanders was stopped by a police officer on Interstate 71 and given a speeding penalty, according to press reports on Wednesday. In an area with a 60 mph speed restriction, the 23-year-old was recorded traveling at 101 mph.
It was then revealed on Thursday that Sanders had also received a ticket for speeding in Medina, Ohio, on June 5. Sanders received $249 in fines and court expenses for exceeding the speed limit of 65 mph while traveling at 91 mph.

During his brief remarks at teammate David Njoku’s celebrity softball game in Eastlake, Ohio, Sanders said that he will learn from the two speeding penalties.
In a video that went viral right away, Sanders stated: “I’ve made some wrong choices, I can own up to it,I learn from them,”

If a person receives 12 driving penalty points in the state of Ohio, their license will be suspended for six months. Now that he is six years old, Shedeur Sanders should drive more cautiously, both for his own safety and the protection of other drivers.
