In a display of superior skill and agility, Kelsey Plum effortlessly dribbled past Angel Reese, leaving her in the dust as she glided to the basket for an easy layup. With a subtle yet confident gesture, Plum seemed to suggest that Reese was simply “too small” to keep up with her moves on the court.

Plum’s smooth moves and quick thinking on the court clearly showcased why she is a force to be reckoned with. Angel Reese may have been caught off guard this time, but there is no doubt that she will be working harder to step up her defense in the future.

Kelsey Plum finished with a game-high 28 points, along with two rebounds and eight assists in the Sparks’ 91-78 victory. The loss dropped Angel Reese and the Sky to 0-3, making them one of the last three winless teams (the Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun are both 0-4).

One of the top highlights of the game occurred early in the first quarter, when Plum dribbled past Reese for an easy layup. After getting the two points, Plum gestured to the crowd that Reese was “too small” to defend her:

Angel Reese is one of the most polarizing players in the WNBA, but it appears Kelsey Plum is no fan of her trash talk and outspoken style. If that’s the case, we’re sure that basket felt extra good.

Though the Sky weren’t a match for the Sparks, Reese had a solid outing with a double-double (13 points, 12 rebounds) along with four assists and two steals.

Angel Reese probably felt pretty embarrassed, but hey, that’s what happens when you try to defend Kelsey Plum. She’s just too quick and too skilled. Better luck next time, Angel. Maybe hit the weight room before you try to take on Kelsey again.
