Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles Finally Agree to Race

Finally, it’s happening… The lightning-fast NFL player Tyreek Hill and Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles have decided to settle their disagreement on the track by competing against one another this offseason to see who has the faster wheels!

The boys told People that the race would happen before the start of the U.S. Championships in July, where Lyles will be racing. Where is still unknown.

Hill said to the publication: “This has been an ongoing thing for, quite some time now, and I mean, everybody’s seen the back and forth on social media,”  “I’ve been very adamant to show people what real, true speed looks like.”

The ongoing feud between Tyreek Hill and Noah Lyles

For a while now, the two have been disparaging one another. The Dolphins receiver blasted the Olympian for claiming that football players shouldn’t think of themselves as world champions back in August, asserting with confidence that he could defeat Lyles in a race.

When Lyles won the 60-meter event at the New Balance Grand Prix earlier this month, he held up a placard that read, “Tyreek could never.”

Lyles stated: “I think it speaks for itself,”. “Everybody says that they’re gonna be the world’s fastest, but when it comes down to it, you gotta be the winner every time, each and every time, and every time I show up to the biggest moments, I win”

The race’s duration is arguably the most important factor that is currently unclear. Forty yards? 60 meters? One hundred meters? It would appear to work in favor of Lyles, who is regarded as the fastest guy on the planet and won a gold medal in the 100 last year, the longer the race.

Hill laughed at Lyles’ statement that it wouldn’t even come close if they did run the 100.
