Although Travis Hunter, the dual-threat star for the Colorado Buffaloes, is used to being in the spotlight, December was more dramatic than the football star could have imagined.

Hunter was in the center of a media frenzy after winning the coveted Heisman Trophy, but not because of his football accomplishments but rather because of his fiancée, Leanna Lenee.

Hunter’s emotional upheaval caused him to briefly withdraw from social media, prompting followers to speculate as to why he abruptly stopped using it.

He made a comeback on Instagram on December 26 with a clear message and a new beginning.

Travis Hunter’s Social Media Absence and Reappearance

Hunter made a comeback on social media by posting a photo of himself visiting SeaWorld San Antonio with Deion and Shedeur Sanders.

The caption for the post said: “Had a ball at @seaworldsanantonio Yesterday,”

The reason for his absence was also disclosed in his Instagram bio, which read:  “New page. Got hacked.”

Fans couldn’t ignore the controversies surrounding his fiancée that had been simmering online, even if it’s still unclear if hacking was the only reason for his hiatus.

Videos that appeared on social media channels sparked the fury. One included a woman who appeared to be Leanna Lenee dancing with an unidentified male at a party, while another showed Leanna Lenee supposedly appearing in her ex-boyfriend’s music video.

Despite the fact that these films were from years ago, they caused Lenee to come under fire from followers who questioned her loyalty to Hunter. That was hardly the end of the debate. During Hunter’s significant moment at the Heisman ceremony, fans observed tension between him and Lenee.

Lenee first stayed seated and only stood up after being prodded by Deion Sanders, while the audience cheered when Hunter was declared the winner. Speculation about turmoil in paradise was stoked by this and tales of a furious courtside altercation between the pair during a recent game.
