After an incredible run, Jon Jones, also known as “Bones,” decided to terminate his career, according to Dana White during the UFC Baku post-fight news conference. However, there was some controversy surrounding Jones’ career-ending, as fans have accused the MMA icon of evading a title unification matchup with Tom Aspinall.
Jones has made light of the irate fans’ comments by making a picture of a duck clutching UFC gold his social media profile picture. Jones has disclosed a new business endeavor that is not related to trolling followers.
Jon Jones announced that he has signed a contract with Ketone-IQ on his Instagram account. He wrote:
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce my new position at @ketone as their Chief Performance Officer. It’s been great in the cage, but I want my true legacy to be the way that I conduct business, putting my best foot forward in everything that I do. Ketone-IQ has been a game-changer in my daily life, giving me more mental clarity, focus, and fuel to take me through each and every day. I believe in it so much that I became a co-owner of the company. Try it, this stuff slaps.”
Now that he doesn’t have to focus on fight camps, Jones is expected to be involved in more profitable business dealings. In addition, he wants to resolve a recent legal issue. “Bones” is being charged with a crime for fleeing the scene of a February traffic accident in New Mexico. A lady claims that Jones was responsible for the body cam footage that showed a man threatening police over the phone.
