Tyler, The Creator Slams Podcasts: “Everybody With a Mic is Crazy”

In a recent interview with The Cut, the rapper kept it real, revealing one of his biggest wishes: putting a stop to the endless flood of podcasts.

According to Tyler, the mic is being passed to the wrong people. He said:

“I think we give a lot of people who aren’t smart and just want attention platforms to be loud and incorrect. 

And other stupid people follow them. Where are the people with skills? We need electricians, we need more drummers, painters, teachers. Everybody with a mic is crazy. I just think that s**t is gross.”

While he admits there are a couple of podcasts he rocks with, Tyler made it clear that most of them need to be unplugged.

This isn’t the first time he’s aired his frustrations either. He told Billboard that if he were president, one of his first executive orders would be banning podcast mics altogether.

One thing about Tyler? He’s going to speak his truth, no filter.
