Yet, in a major clap back, Lizzo’s legal rep asserts that the individual has never even met the star.

TMZ reports that the plaintiff is Asha Daniels, who says she was hired by Amanda Nomura – a member of Lizzo’s team – to join her 2023 tour in the wardrobe department.

Daniels asserts that the work was intense, with 6am to 2am days. Breaks, it’s claimed, were few and far between.

Per the suit, Daniels, who is a Black woman, alleges Nomura was unduly harsh – making racist and fatphobic remarks.

The suit further posits that Nomura allegedly told her she was not to dress “sexy” around Lizzo because it supposedly made the star jealous and could incite the arousal of her boyfriend.

Interestingly, Daniels says she flagged the issue with Lizzo’s management who allegedly suggested she record the behaviour for evidence. She says she did not out of fear.

Perplexingly, Daniels is now suing Lizzo and is being repped by the same attorney repping the 3 dancers.

She alleges that, as a result of her experience, that she is suffering from PTSD, migraines, ocular distortions, brain fog, and fatigue.

In a statement, Lizzo’s spokesman Stefan Friedman hit back hard. He said:

“As Lizzo receives a Humanitarian Award tonight from the Black Music Action Coalition for the incredible charitable work she has done to lift up all people, an ambulance-chasing lawyer tries to sully this honor by recruiting someone to file a bogus, absurd publicity-stunt lawsuit who, wait for it, never actually met or even spoke with Lizzo.

We will pay this as much attention as it deserves. None”
