Despite having zeroes in garbage time, Bronny and his father LeBron James‘s incredible rhythm won the game. In a battle for position in the NBA Western Conference, guard Austin Reeves had a sick crossover play that resulted in a lob-dunk assist in the Los Angeles Lakers‘ 120-108 victory over the Denver Nuggets.
That was fantastic, but even better was Bronny and LeBron’s response. With the oldest of LeBron’s children sitting behind him on the bench and papa James still wearing street clothes (wearing a Columbus Blue Jackets shirt) due to a groin issue, the father and son turned Reeve’s mixing the defender into their own little groove on the sidelines.
It’s good to see Bronny comfortable with his father after all of the pressure he’s been under, including shutting down a heckler on the road against the Nuggets only last week.

Regretfully, garbage time lived up to its moniker as he entered the game during the final three minutes.
Bronny has been the subject of intense attention ever since the Lakers selected him in the second round with an oddly generous four-year contract worth $7.9 million, of which the first three years are entirely guaranteed. The fact that his father defended his son’s honor in a viral dispute with ESPN’s $100 million man Stephen A. Smith surely doesn’t help.
