Hotly anticipated, the film chronicles the story of political force Shirley Chisholm – the first black Congresswoman.
Set to premiere on Netflix on March 22, the movie centers on Chisholm’s bold and boundary-shattering run for the positon of the president of the US in 1972.
King stars alongside a cast that includes Terrance Howard, André Holland, Lance Reddick, Lucas Hedges, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Christina Jackson.
