Hot 100: Taylor Swift’s ‘Anti-Hero’ Becomes the 10th Song in History To Spend Its First 6 Weeks at #1

Out of the 1,144 songs that have topped the Hot 100 over its 64-year history, less than 1% can boast spending their first six weeks of charting at #1.

This week, Taylor Swift‘s enduring ‘Midnights’ hit, ‘Anti-Hero,’ joined that exclusive list.

 

Much like the Billboard 200 (as we reported here), peruse of the refreshed Hot 100 show Swift sitting pretty at #1.

On the latter tally, her tune ‘Anti-Hero’ continues to fend off surging Holiday songs – many of which collecting gargantuan streams as Christmas draws closer.

Here are the numbers that kept the yuletide tunes at bay.

  • Streaming: 20.9 million U.S.-based streams
  • Digital Downloads: 13,000 sold
  • Radio Airplay: 68.9 million audience impressions

The figures also helped lift Taylor into an exclusive Hot 100 club.
