Billboard has now reported that the music legend’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour has become the first tour ever to hit $900 million with it earning $910.4 million.

As a result of this, John has surpassed Ed Sheeran to score the highest-grossing tour ever.

Each of his final shows brought in $15 to $20 million alone.

John has been on the road since 2018 and just wrapped the final shows in Europe, causing his music to skyrocket on the charts over there.

The news comes as it is predicted that Taylor Swift will surpass John for her Eras Tour and will go on to be the first tour to earn $1 billion.
