Dak Prescott has declared that he will “take every step necessary” to prevent thieves from targeting him in the future. The FBI believes a highly organized international crime ring is responsible for a string of robberies and burglaries that have occurred in recent months, targeting the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his fiancée.
While attending a Pilates class in downtown Dallas, Sarah Jane Ramos, Prescott’s fiancée, had more than $40,000 worth of goods stolen from her vehicle.
This contained money, credit cards, gadgets, and high-end purses from brands like Chanel, Prada, Gucci, YSL, and Louis Vuitton.
Dak Prescott spoke in detail about the burglary
Prescott stated: “I can’t have it be written about every which way that I go to protect my security because then I’ll just be opening a loophole, but I’ve always understood who I was or where I was, especially being the quarterback of this team and targeted that I am, whether it be for a natural robbery or whether it be for losing a game and whatever.
“I’ve understood the position that I am in. So, for me it’s more about the day and now protecting my fiancée and my daughter.” “I don’t want to tie that in, and I don’t want anybody to tie that in with other things that have been happening.
“I mean her car got broken into at Pilates in Dallas.
“Who knows how many times that happens a day? So that’s that. “But as far as the other – protecting the home and that – yeah, I’m going to take every step necessary that I can to ensure the safety and that doesn’t happen to me.”
Ramos ‘failed to lock her car,’ according to sources, but Prescott stated he “don’t want to tie that in.”
The FBI was compelled to advise athletes to exercise caution in a memo sent to major leagues and sports clubs earlier this week. The Bureau suspects that a South American organized and technological international crime ring has targeted other athletes in addition to Prescott.
Those who were robbed include Mike Conley, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, and Bobby Portis. A fellow A day after Prescott’s fiancée was targeted, Dallas star Luka Doncic had $30,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his house. At the time, the Dallas Mavericks were facing the Suns in Phoenix.
