Taking to her Instagram account, Cupcakke announced the news that 2022 had been her biggest streaming year despite only dropping one song.

“126 MILLION streams this year INDEPENDENTLY & I ain’t drop nothing but one song the entire year ???? This was my biggest year numbers wise , & I want to thank every one of you who contribute to this , including the remixes. Y’all will never go unnoticed, highly appreciated,” she captioned the post showing her numbers for the year.

Cupcakke’s only song she released last year was ‘H2Hoe,’ which was released in May of last year.

In 2022 Cupcakke went viral on TikTok when people started to dub lyrics from her songs over that of other songs. Since then, the trend has continued and the majority of new songs get the Cupcakke treatment.
