After a hard-fought battle with Jason Aldean and Morgan Wallen, the pair’s single ‘Seven’ has soared in at #1 on the coveted count.

Jung Kook has tasted the top spot six times as part of BTS (thanks to bops such as ‘Butter’ and ‘Dynamite’), but this serves as his first reign as a soloist.

For femcee Latto, it’s her first #1 on the Hot 100. She previously impacted the top 10 with #3-peaking ‘Big Energy’ in 2022.

So, how did the duo pull off the win?

Here’s how the numbers stack up:

  • 21.9 million streams
  • 6.4 million in airplay audience
  • 153,000 combined digital and CD singles

Jung Kook now serves as the second BTS member to score a #1 on the Hot 100 after Jimin’s ‘Like Crazy’ launched in pole position in April.
