‘Beyond The Gates’ Renewed For Season 2 on CBS

‘Beyond the Gates’ has officially been renewed for a second season by CBS, after a strong launch run.

Set against the idea of privilege and prestige, the show follows the Duprees, a powerful, multi-generational family that embodies Black excellence and legacy.

But behind their gates and perfectly manicured lives lie secrets, scandals, and betrayals that could unravel everything.

Its season 2 pickup was announced today (May 12).

Thanks to ‘Beyond The Gates,’ viewership on the network is up 67% compared to the same period last year, and according to Nielsen, it is currently outperforming ABC’s General Hospital by 7%.

The cast features Tamara Tunie as the formidable matriarch Anita Dupree, Clifton Davis as the influential patriarch Theodore Dupree, and Daphnee Duplaix and Karla Mosley as their daughters, Nicole Dupree Richardson and Dani Dupree..
