Per Hits Daily Double, the ‘Break My Soul’ chart-topper may be prepping a “fiery” tribute to her idol Tima Turner, who died aged 83 on May 24, 2023.
The pair famously took to the stage together at the 2008 installment of Music’s Biggest Night.
Beyonce also honored Turner at the Kennedy Center Honors 2005, performed ‘Proud Mary’ at Divas Live 2003 with Jewel, and paid emotional tribute to the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer at last summer’s ‘Renaissance World Tour.’
It should be noted that there’s been no confirmation of a Queen Bey performance as of writing, but it goes without saying that any such showing would be the centerpiece of the ceremony – which presently boasts Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo on the lineup.
The GRAMMYs 2024 airs live on CBS on Sunday, February 4, at 8 p.m ET / 5 p.m. PT.
