Janet Jackson is adding a fresh accolade to her mantel.

For, the Pop queen has been announced the recipient of the ICON Award at the American Music Awards 2025.

And she’ll be giving fans a gift of her own, because she will be taking to the stage to perform.

The prestigious honor is bestowed upon an artist whose music has had an undeniable cultural and global influence over the music industry.

Suffice it to say, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer is more than deserving.

Jackson, an 11-time American Music Award-winner, will perform at the May 26 event, which is hosted by Jennifer Lopez and takes place live from the BleauLive Theater Las Vegas.

The showing will mark the diva’s first television performance since 2018.

It’s of note that the AMAs is set to take place in Sin City, where Jackson has been rocking audiences at her Resorts World residency.

The AMAs 2025 air on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26 at  8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on CBS and Paramount+.
