For, “concerned supporters” reportedly contacted the cops to conduct a welfare check on the singer after she deleted her Instagram. A move that is somewhat routine for the star.

Taking to Twitter, the 41-year-old explained that while she loves her fans, her “privacy was invaded.”

She wrote:

“As everyone knows, the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fan but this time things wre a little to far and my privacy was invaded. The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly released there was no issue and left immediately. This felt I was being gaslit and bulled once the incident made it ot the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.”

The development comes after Spears’ husband Sam Asghari denied reports that the performer experienced a “manic episode” in a Los Angeles restaurant earlier this month.

41-year-old Spears gained freedom from the conservatorship that governed her personal and professional life for 13 years 14 months ago.
