According to George Karl, Nikola Jokic Deserves A Hall of Fame-Caliber Teammate

After a month of play, Nikola Jokic is at the top of the MVP charts, continuing his fantastic start to the season. The NBA community is gradually realizing, though, that the Joker is the only NBA superstar without a true All-Star on his squad. George Karl, the team’s former head coach, believes it is intolerable that a player of Jokic’s caliber isn’t able to reach his full potential without a Hall of Fame-caliber teammate.

The 73-year-old recently saw one of Swipa’s posts. Swipa noted in the post how unusual it is that the Joker hasn’t yet played with a possible HOF player.

George Karl laments Nikola Jokic’s poor teammates

He mentioned the names of some of the greatest players in history, including Shaquille O’Neal, Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and the late, great Kobe Bryant. When they were at their best, they all played with another Hall of Famer.

He stated: “It’s so frustrating to watch the once-in-a-lifetime dominance we are seeing from Joker and to be in a situation where fans are begging for someone to assume the role as a true second star,”

The Nuggets are now the only team unable to provide their best player the support they need. Denver fans must be annoyed about it. Since the Nuggets won the 2023 Championship, their complacency has only grown.

Karl retweeted the post with the following message: “It’s unacceptable.”

DeAndre Jordan, whose first and only selection occurred in 2017, is the only “All-Star” player Jokic has been playing with. Although the three-time MVP has other talented colleagues, like as Michael Porter Jr., Aaron Gordon, and Jamal Murray, they simply aren’t as good as him.
