Zhuri James Checks Mom Savannah In The Cutest Way During ESPY Tribute To LeBron + Angel Reese, Flau'Jae, Kyrie & Marlene And More Show Off

Watch Zhuri James stop her mother, Savannah James, from swearing on live television during LeBron James’ESPY tribute inside…   LeBron James' family stole the show at the 2023 ESPYs on Wednesday night when his daughter, Zhuri, stopped her mom from saying a curse word on live TV. King James was presented his trophy by his wife Savannah James, sons, Bronny and Bryce, and daughter, Zhuri. As Savannah was giving her husband a tribute for breaking the NBA's all-time scoring record, she started to say a compliment that would have ended in a swear word. But before she could finish, Zhuri put her hand over her mom's mouth, shook her head, and said "Mom!" The crowd erupted in laughter, and LeBron himself got a kick out of the moment. The 38-year-old superstar said at the end of last season that he was unsure of his future, but he made it clear on Wednesday night that he is still committed to winning championships with the Lakers. “I don’t care how many more points I score or what I can and cannot do on the floor,” he said. “The real question for me is can I play without cheating this game? The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys that day is not today.” Period. Watch his full speech below: LeBron’s decision to return is a major boost for the Lakers, who are hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 2022-23 season. The Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the Western Conference Finals, and they have made several changes to their roster this offseason in an effort to improve. With James back in the fold, the Lakers are once again a contender for the NBA championship. James is one of the greatest players in NBA history, and he has shown no signs of slowing down. King James later returned and was joined by Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade to honor Carmelo Anthony, who recently retired after a 19-year career.
