Will Levis, the Titans QB, Thinks His Current Circumstances “Suck”

A year ago, Will Levis obviously didn’t see himself in this situation, but after a season that was far below his and the Titans‘ expectations, the veteran quarterback is now facing Cam Ward, the first overall pick.

According to all accounts, Levis has handled his current scenario well, but he recently admitted that it is far from ideal. According to Main Street Nashville, Levis stated:

“Anyone who’s every been in my situation would agree that it sucks,”. “I’m just trying to do the best I can to not let it affect me and just being the same dude every day in the building and being there for the guys however I can and just trying to get better every day.”

Ward has only had positive things to say about his new teammate, so Levis hasn’t let his disappointment affect their connection.

“He was one of the first ones to come up to me in the locker room, ready to compete and ready to get to work,”. “It’s been exciting to work with somebody who has played in an actual NFL football game. So to be able to take a little advice from him, it’s been good.”

Levis’ ongoing difficulties with ball care, which resulted in his selection in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, are mostly to blame for his current predicament. With just four interceptions in nine games as a rookie, Levis appeared to have the problem under control. However, when the Titans struggled through a 3-14 season last year, he regressed by throwing 12 picks in 12 games.
