As reported, Vice President Kamala Harris – the Democratic nominee for the 2024 U.S. presidential race – was defeated by Republican opponent Donald Trump in the quest to be named the country’s 47th commander-in-chief.
Originally thought to be delivering her concession speech shortly after his victory was declared on Tuesday night (November 5), Harris delayed until Wednesday (November 6) – taking to her alma mater, Howard University in Washington, D.C., to officially concede.

Speaking confidently and with vigor, Harris said:
“While I concede this election, I don’t concede the fight that fueled this campaign. The fight for feeedom, opportunity, fairness, and dignity of all people, and ideals at the heart of this nation… that is a fight I will never give up.”
