On this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart, ‘Calm Down’ officially spends a second week at #1.
The song was able to do so because of 17,131 spins during the May 7-13 tracking period. While the count did fall from last week’s by 476, it still managed to hold onto that #1 spot.
Because of its extended stay at #1, the song officially becomes the first Afrobeats song to spend multiple weeks at the top of the pop radio airplay chart.
That news comes as the song maintains its peak position of #5 on the latest incarnation of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
