Justin Fields just scored a massive $40 million deal with the New York Jets! And how does he celebrate? By popping champagne in Dubai, of course! This player is living the dream, and we can’t help but be a little bit jealous.

I mean, come on, who wouldn’t want to be sipping champagne in the lap of luxury in Dubai? This guy knows how to live it up. And hey, he deserves it after all the hard work and dedication he’s put into his career.

Video of the festivities went viral on X as the 26-year-old is seen watching servers dancing on the long tables while holding sparklers. And like many other diners in the crowded restaurant, Fields was recording to the performance on his phone.

No food can be seen, so it’s impossible to say what Fields and his friends were feasting on, but the former Ohio State star said in 2023 that he’s a pescatarian.

Fields was famously passed over by the Jets four years ago when the team drafted BYU’s Zach Wilson with the second-overall pick. Wilson failed to meet expectations and recently agreed to a backup role in Miami after spending the 2024 season with Denver.

Fields likely steps in ahead of veteran backup Tyrod Taylor as New York’s starter in place of Aaron Rodgers after the Jets announced last month they are moving forward without the four-time NFL MVP following two seasons. Rodgers, who hasn’t announced whether he’ll play a 21st NFL season, is expected to be released.

The deal for Fields includes $30 million guaranteed, according to the person who spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the agreement wasn’t announced by the team. NFL Network first reported the deal between Fields and the Jets.
