VIDEO: Car Smashes Into Eagles Fans While Celebrating Victory Over The Commanders In Philadelphia

Last night in Philadelphia, after the Eagles scored a great victory over the Commanders, a wild incident went down. As Eagles fans were out celebrating on the streets, an unfortunate accident occurred. A car plowed right into a crowd of excited fans, causing chaos and injuring 8 people.

These die-hard Eagles supporters were just euphoric after their team’s amazing win, enjoying the post-game festivities when this random car came out of nowhere and ruined the whole celebration.

Eight people were left injured by the crash in the Spring Garden neighborhood, though none of the injuries was life-threatening, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The injuries ranged from pain to fractures, police said.

The 26-year-old woman who was driving the 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 involved in the crash was taken into custody for questioning, police said.

The victims were part of a large crowd that took to the streets after the Eagles beat the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC championship game, sending them to the Super Bowl.

The accident took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. near Center City, one of Philadelphia’s most storied neighborhoods and home to such historic attractions as the Liberty Bell.

Let’s hope that those injured recover swiftly and that they’ll soon be back on their feet cheering for their beloved Eagles. According to the Police, the incident did not appear to be intentional.
