VIDEO: Boston Celtics Fan Kicked Out After Courtside Confrontation With Marcus Smart

One Boston Celtics fan got kicked out of a game for getting into it with Marcus Smart. Talk about a crazy situation! It all went down during the Washington Wizards-Boston Celtics game when this fan, who was sitting courtside, said something to Marcus. And you know, Marcus, he’s not one to back down from a confrontation.

Security had to come in and escort the fan out of the arena, and let me tell you, it was quite the scene. Fans were shocked and couldn’t believe what they were witnessing. I mean, who picks a fight with a professional basketball player? That’s just asking for trouble.

Despite not playing in the game, Smart was engaged in a shouting match with the fan while seated on the bench. It suddenly escalated to the point where teammates had to physically restrain him to prevent further confrontation. Security promptly removed the disruptive fan from the arena shortly after the altercation.

After the game, Smart addressed the situation, expressing disappointment over the encounter.

“He just crossed the line and we all know I don’t do line-crossing. That was it. We move on. Unfortunate, you never want to see that, especially for a guy who’s coming back, and who’s given the city everything he has, but it is what it is. Take the spirit, we’ll take it. Onto the next one,” Smart said.

While the fan incident ruined his day, Marcus Smart received a warm welcome from many fans in attendance.
