Disney‘s live-action prequel reigns atop the chart with $15.5 million in its fifth week of activity.
The sum brings its domestic total to $210 million, rendering the Aaron Pierre-led flick the first film in 15 years to cross $200 million in the US alone. As of writing, the Barry Jenkins-directed title has amassed over $550 million at the global box office.
‘One of Them Days’ Delivers
Elsewhere, the Issa Rae-produced ‘One of Them Days’ is tracking towards a $14 million launch.
Bolstered by an impressive “A-” CinemaScore from audiences, the sum is notable in that the Lawrence Lamont-directed film was made on a $14 million budget. Thus, the TriStar production is on track to become a profitable venture.
