Travis Kelce and Jason Troll Dak Prescott Ahead of the Cowboys Game

The Philadelphia Eagles, the defending Super Bowl champions, will take on the Dallas Cowboys in a fierce NFC East matchup to kick off the 2025 NFL season. On their New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis Kelce discussed the matchup in detail, casting doubt on it, and laying the groundwork for what may be one of the most anticipated Week 1 matchups in recent memory. As a result, the tension is already quite high.

Never one to hold back, Jason Kelce took advantage of the chance to make fun of “America’s Team.” He joked, obviously alluding to the Cowboys’ decades-long lack of a Super Bowl victory:  “Some call them America’s team, but it’s been a while since America’s been great, if that’s the case,”

The legendary Eagles player even made fun of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones by stating that he would probably be “pumped” to see a championship banner unfurled at Lincoln Financial Field—just not one featuring a celebrity.

The Cowboys are still deciding who will be under center as the Eagles get ready to hoist their Super Bowl flag. Dak Prescott, the quarterback, is recuperating from a partial hamstring avulsion that ended his 2024 season in Week 9.
