Tom Brady’s Funny Reaction to His Very First Indianapolis Car Ride

Following his retirement from football, former NFL quarterback Tom Brady has remained active and has appeared almost everywhere, including at the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 25, 2025, at Speedway, Indiana.

Wearing full racing gear and participating in the pre-race festivities, Brady seized the opportunity. Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR champion, gave him an exhilarating ride in the “Fastest Seat in Sports” during his tour of the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway before to the major event.

Michael Strahan, another former NFL star, drove the pace car as Johnson took the wheel. Brady thoroughly enjoyed his first experience at a racetrack in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Tom Brady recapped the event in a video posted on his YouTube account, making light of the racecar seat’s tight fit.

Brady stated: “This is incredible, Jimmie driving, all the fans here, I can’t believe this is my first time here,”. “That was so fun, you were flying… Bro, my a** is way too big for that seat. After a while I was like, I can’t be in here for 30 minutes.”

When Tom Brady stood on the podium before the drive, the supporters there jeered him. Given his legendary rivalry with the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning during his playing days, it is perhaps no accident that Brady was loudly jeered by the fans as he appeared on the podium before the drive.

Since Brady’s history is still respected by many fans, the jeers appeared to be more of a backhanded homage than genuine anger. Brady’s usual response was one of comedy and a personal attack.
