Tiger Woods, one of the most recognizable names in professional sports, is set to have his life story adapted for the big screen in an upcoming biopic produced by Amazon Studios.

The film will be based on Kevin Cook’s book ‘The Tiger Slam‘, detailing Woods’ early career and the period when he simultaneously held all four major championships.

Reinaldo Marcus Green, director of ‘King Richard‘ – the biopic about Venus and Serena Williams‘ father – has been tapped to helm the project.

Woods dominated golf in the late 1990s and early 2000s, but his life off the course made headlines.

From controversies to injuries and a car accident, Woods’ journey has been filled with both triumphs and challenges.

The film will explore these struggles and offer a complete picture of his life and career.

Amazon Studios and Higher Ground Productions, founded by Barack and Michelle Obama, are producing the biopic.

A release date will be announced in due course.
