Tayon Holloway’s Strangulation and Assault Charges Dropped

According to court documents, former Louisville cornerback Tayon Holloway was recently exonerated of two assault and strangulation allegations. WDRB’s Jason Riley was the first to report the news.

One day after Louisville’s 38-35 defeat at Stanford on November 17, Holloway was taken into custody and charged with first-degree strangling (connected to domestic abuse), a felony, and fourth-degree assault with a slight injury, a misdemeanor.

According to WDRB, Holloway was found guilty of disorderly conduct on March 27th, even though these charges were withdrawn. This charge will be dropped and expunged as long as he complies with specific requirements until June 4.

Tayon Holloway allegedly hit his girlfriend

Based on the police report that the Louisville Cardinals were able to get Following a 911 hang-up call at approximately 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, cops were sent to The Province apartments near the University of Louisiana campus on SI at the time of his arrest. Even though everyone in the flat was “uncooperative,” they all agreed to let the police search.

The victim, identified in the report as Holloway’s girlfriend, had “a laceration to her top lip” and “puffiness of the eyes, “often associated with sobbing,” according to the responding officer. According to the report, the victim claimed that Holloway was getting ready to consume marijuana in his room. As she reached for the weed, Holloway “became angry and physical.”

According to the woman, Holloway “threw her off the bed and onto the ground, and began to strike her in the face with a closed fist.” The victim then tried to defend herself by grabbing a nearby lamp, but it didn’t work, so Holloway “took a pillow and placed it over her face” for about ten seconds.

According to the allegation, Holloway “began to throw her out of the room and started pushing and shoving her” in the direction of the flat exit after taking the pillow away. The victim also tried a mirror to defend herself during this time, but it broke.
