Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever was Taylor Swift’s special guest at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday. After the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs, Clark joined the singer in her suite.

Swift and her fiancé, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as well as their family and friends were seated in a box alongside Clark.

In her Time 2024 Athlete of the Year biography, Clark, a lifetime Chiefs supporter, mentioned how she met Swift’s mother and Kelce at back-to-back Eras Tour performances at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Caitlin Clark’s love for Chiefs and Taylor Swift

Swift invited Clark to attend a Chiefs game with her and gave her some items. Earlier this month, Clark talked about her Chiefs devotion on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast. She told Travis and Jason Kelce that she had always been a Kansas City supporter.

She added that she had family in Kansas City, Missouri, and that her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa, is three hours away: “I’m a Midwest kid,”  “My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up. People think I’m a bandwagon Chiefs fan, I’m like, ‘No, I was there before Patrick [Mahomes] and Travis [Kelce]. We were ride or die.”

After Kansas City’s 23–14 victory, Mahomes will now play in his sixth straight AFC championship game. Kelce finished with a score and 117 receiving yards.
