The family of Shanquella Robinson, who died tragically in Mexico over four months ago, is urging for immediate diplomatic intervention as no arrests have been made yet. In a letter sent to the White House, Shanquella's mother and attorney discuss their next steps in seeking justice for her death. Attorneys Ben Crump and Sue-Ann Robinson (no relation) are leading the charge for justice in the tragic death of Shanquella Robinson, who was brutally murdered less than 24 hours after arriving in Mexico for a vacation with her "friends." In a letter to the White House, the attorneys are calling on officials to find those responsible for Shanquella's death, specifically naming her travel companions who were with her in Cabo San Lucas. The letter reveals the disturbing details of Shanquella's death, including a viral video that showed her being beaten while naked by one of her travel mates, identified as Dejahanae Jackson. A local doctor was with Shanquella for three hours before she was pronounced dead. The autopsy report indicated that Shanquella suffered a broken neck, and Mexican law enforcement issued a warrant for Dejahanae, who fled back to the United States after Shanquella's death. The letter emphasizes that United States citizens who commit homicide in Mexico can face criminal charges under federal or state law upon their return to the United States. The attorneys are urging the U.S. government to bring federal charges in this case, given the possible involvement of interstate commerce and federal law enforcement agencies. The letter also includes a detailed account from the villa concierge, who noted that Shanquella seemed "out of place" at the party and that Dejahanae had manipulated him into arranging a ride for the group to San Jose. The concierge heard laughter from the group just minutes after offering condolences for Shanquella's death. Wow. “Hours later, Jackson texted the concierge about dinner and he arranged a ride for the group to San Jose. But he found out later the group went to the airport,” the Charlette Observer reported.
