Skai Jackson has filed a restraining order against the father of her newborn child, and the reasons include alleged physical abuse.

According to TMZ, Jackson formally filed the order with the L.A. County Superior Court.

In the docs, the former Disney Channel star claims Deondre Burgin attacked her on Mother’s Day – while she was holding their three-month old son Kasai.

Burgin is accused of punching her in the face, pulling her hair, and slamming her face against a car.

And Jackson says it wasn’t an isolated incident.

For, she details 6 months in 2024, during which Burgin would physically attack her daily. This included slamming her head into a wall. She says he “choked me until I could not breathe.” A claim she asserts is supported by video evidence.

The actress also alleges he destroyed a television, an iPhone, and more.

Elsewhere, she alleges he demanded she drink bleach during the pregnancy to abort their baby.

During the pregnancy, he also allegedly held her at knifepoint and threatened to stab the baby.

Jackson says she fears for her well-being, as Burgin owns multiple firearms.

As for their son and his rearing, she’s also seeking a formal child support mandate to be put in place.

The pair have been embroiled in drama before. Indeed, as reported, Jackson was arrested at Disneyland after a dispute, during which she informed responding officers that she was pregnant. This, months before she would officially announce that she was with child.
