Diddy's request for mistrial gets denied

Diddy has been dealt another legal blow, as the judge in his racketeering and sex trafficking case shut down his bid for a mistrial.

On day 20 of Diddy’s case, Judge Subramanian gave a hard pass to the mogul’s request for a mistrial.

This comes after the courtroom drama scaled to new heights last week when Bryana Bongolan, a friend of Cassie Ventura, testified that Diddy held her over a 17th-floor balcony back in 2016.

Diddy’s legal team citied Ventura’s text messages that allegedly contradicted her testimony, plus photo metadata they claim clears him. But the judge wasn’t buying it.

Calling out inconsistencies and drug use from the time, Judge Subramanian shut it all the way down, stating:

“This happened years ago.”

And praised Bongolan’s sobriety journey, saying:

“Thank God she’s sober.”

Ultimately, the judge refused to label her testimony as perjury.
