The love between DDG and Halle Bailey may have seemingly gone cold, but ‘IceBox‘ hitmaker Omarion is still hoping their headline-grabbing battle for custody of their 1-year-old doesn’t get any worse than it already has.

Soulja Boy isn’t the only celebrity weighing in on the drama between former lovebirds DDG (born Darryl Dwayne Granberry) and Bailey.

Omarion, before rocking the BET Awards stage with a surprise B2K reunion on Monday night (June 9), chatted it up with TMZ over the weekend to discuss the ongoing legal woes of the one-time couple including their ongoing custody battle for 1-year-old son Halo.

“Time heals, you know…I think it’s important to always remain respectful and understand that y’all basically went 100/100 with creating something,” he said before sharing, “Just remember you used to love each other, it’s important.”

Having experienced his own highly publicized relationship drama with singer-songwriter-actress Apryl Jones, the mother of his two children, O is versed on the topic.

Bailey nor DDG has responded to Omarion’s comments.

His advice comes days after a judge denied the rapper-social media star’s emergency motion to prevent Halle from taking Halo out of the country after he claimed she posed an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child due to her alleged threats of self-harm.

Bailey was previously granted a restraining order against Granberry and has announced their 1-year-old son is protected under it as well.
