Shawn Mendes’ ‘Treat You Better’ and ‘Mercy’ Get Updated Stats From the RIAA

Shawn Mendes has received some new plaques thanks to his hit songs ‘Mercy’ and ‘Treat You Better.’

Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) shared the news that ‘Treat You Better’ has been upgraded to 7x Platinum status for the sales equivalent of 7,000,000 units in the United States. As a result, the song is now nearing Dimond status at 10,000,000 units.

Mendes also received an upgrade for his song ‘Mercy.’ That song has now been upgraded to 5x Platinum status, hitting the halfway mark to Diamond status.

Both songs were massive hits for Mendes.
