Instead of waging a social media war against her former influencer boyfriend, ‘Back & Forth‘ hitmaker Halle Bailey is reportedly going back and forth to the courts to put a period on her highly publicized dealings with the Web star-turned-rapper.

Amid explosive reports Bailey was granted a restraining order after DDG (born Darryl Dwyane Granberry) physically abused her, now it’s being said the singer-actress is looking to secure sole custody of their son Halo.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Bailey asked a judge to grant her full physical and legal custodianship over their child whom she welcomed with the rapper in December 2023.

What’s more, the docs show she’s asking he not be allowed visitation with his son unless it’s under the supervision of a professional and that he not be able to take Halo outside of Los Angeles.

The child abduction preventative measure is reportedly the result of Bailey asserting DDG has a history of abusing her, hiding Halo from her, being an uncooperative parent, or threatening to take Halo away from her all together.

As if the aforementioned wasn’t enough, Halle also petitioned the judge to order DDG not to travel with the child without her written permission and to refrain from applying for passports or other important documents for him.

According to the docs, the GRAMMY-nominated songstress said she’s “done everything possible to avoid going to Court.”

“I realize that there is no placating Darryl. I cannot allow this abuse any longer. I cannot keep living like this,” she says. “I never know when he is going to demand our son to be in his Mother’s care and whether I will be subjected to his threats and abuse.”

A court hearing in the case has been scheduled for June 4.  In the interim, DDG is to remain 100 yards from Bailey and Halo at all times.

At writing, the rapper has not made an official public statement about the custody filing.
