Can you imagine being 14 weeks pregnant and trying to have a calm conversation with your partner about your baby and a paternity test, only for things to escalate into a physical altercation? SMH! The victim claims that Carti, whose real name is Jordan Carter, grabbed her by the throat and pushed her into the bushes, leaving her gasping for air and fearing for her life. The drama started when she tried to talk to Carti about the baby and it all escalated from there into a physical attack. But don't worry, a witness came to the rescue and she was able to escape. However, she says that Carti still tried to pull her out of her car and stop her from using the SOS feature to call the police. The police report showed that the victim had visible injuries to her neck, chest, and back. And it doesn't end there. The victim says that there were two other men at the scene who did nothing to intervene and that it took another female witness jumping in to try to break them up. The fight reportedly continued even when the victim tried to escape in her car, with Carti allegedly trying to pull her out and put his hand over her mouth as she called for help. According to police, the woman told officers she had been in a relationship with Playboi Carti for two years, had been living with him since July 2022, and was 14 weeks pregnant at the time of the alleged incident on December 20, 2022. The “Sky” rapper, 26, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault and hindering a person from making an emergency telephone call. He was later released on a $100,000 bond. Carti's lawyer Brian Steel tells TMZ, "Mr. Carter was falsely accused. Pursuant to my communications with the Fulton County District Attorney‘s office, this case will be dismissed without any prosecution or litigation." As news of Carti's arrest spread, Iggy Azalea, Carti's son's mother, weighed in on the drama. ”Been there, done that, warned you," she tweeted. "Imagine having a pregnant girlfriend and pretending they don’t exist until it comes out you like to abuse them too," she continued, adding more clarity to her first post.
