If there’s one thing Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey have shared over the years it’s bad blood.
However, in a unique turn of events, the stars – who famously feuded during their time on American Idol – will now be sharing a manager.

Billboard reports that Minaj, 40, has signed with Range Media Partners and will see her career shepherded by Melissa Rudderman.
Formerly of Roc Nation, Rudderman has ample experience under her belt and has been instrumental in maximizing the Mariah brand in recent years. Indeed, Mimi even left Roc Nation (on good terms) to join Rudderman at Range when she made the move.
Beyond the Carey connection, Minaj’s new management deal is interesting in that it comes on the heels of her September 2021 signing with Wassim “Sal” Slaiby‘s SALCO – which has trailblazed by way of its management of The Weeknd.
Suffice it to say, Minaj’s tenure was clearly short-lived.
The femcee previously enlisted industry giant Irving Azoff at Full Stop Management from 2019-2021. Prior to that, her career was shepherded by Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant at Blueprint/Maverick Management.
Having released ample music in 2022 and topped the charts with ‘Super Freaky Girl’ towards its close, all eyes are on Minaj’s next move. Now more than ever, especially with new management at the helm… once again.
