Having landed on Billboard’s Pop, R&B, Latin, and Dance/Electronic charts with numbers from her prized discography over the last decade or more, Hip-Hop hitmaker Nicki Minaj is no stranger to seeing the flex of her musical versatility translate into hits.

That’s why it should come as little surprise the Rap royal is not only reigning over Urban rankings this week with cuts from her latest chart-topping album, ‘Pink Friday 2,’ but she’s also printed atop the refreshed Gospel hitlist thanks to help from GRAMMY-winning songstress Tasha Cobbs Leonard.

Despite boasting a who’s who of guest stars across its multiple versions including Drake, Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Future, Monica, Keyshia Cole, 50 Cent, and Lil Uzi Vert, a standout among ‘Pink Friday 2’ tracks came courtesy of the Cobbs Leonard-assisted ‘Blessings.’

Produced by SadPony and Bnyx, the tune sits at #1 on the updated Hot Gospel Songs, Gospel Streaming, and Gospel Digital Song Sales charts – blasting past current hits from some of the genre’s top hitmakers like CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbett, Maverick City Music, and more.

A reunion for the award-winning divas, Minaj and Cobbs-Leonard saw their previous collaboration – 2017’s ‘I’m Getting Ready’ (found aboard the latter’s fourth studio album ‘Heart.Passion.Pursuit’) – also land atop the tally at the height of its popularity.

While the reign on the Gospel charts comes as Nicki’s second, it’s Tasha’s fifth.

And though ‘Blessings’ didn’t manage to bless the all-genre chart with its presence, 17 other tracks from ‘PF2’ did – making the LP the first album by a female rapper to boast as many song entries on the Hot 100.
