The Phoenix Suns’ tenure may be coming to an end as several teams are anticipated to make a move for Kevin Durant this summer. Durant’s future in Phoenix is still up in the air after he was on the verge of being dealt before the deadline, and rumors have it that he has lost faith in the team.
If the 15-time All-Star becomes available, teams like the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and San Antonio Spurs will be vying for his services, according to Hoops Wire.

Despite shooting an impressive 53.2% from the field and 40.4% from beyond the arc this season, Durant, 36, is still among the NBA’s top scorers with an average of 27.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. He is a highly sought-after asset for competing teams due to his exceptional scoring ability and championship history.
He was first signed by the Suns in a historic 2023 trade with the Brooklyn Nets, and the squad has fallen short of expectations, finishing outside the top eight in the Western Conference standings. Phoenix may try to start over by selling Durant for valuable assets given their dismal playoff results from the last two seasons and their huge $230 million salary.
