Thanks to Lifetime, the latter cut serves as the title for her official biopic set to premiere on Saturday (February 1).
Executive produced by Velez, the film stars Jearnest Corchado as Lisa Lisa alongside familiar faces Angie Martinez, Bre-Z, Maurice P. Kerry, Matt Borlenghi, and Ian Lyons.
Giving longtime fans and a new generation of music lovers a glimpse into the Pop sensation’s life, viewers will see the untold story of the ups-and-downs of her professional and personal journey including battling sexism, racism, and breast cancer diagnosis.
